Office Design, Office Fit Out and Office Furniture in Hemel Hempstead – Fingleton White
After a short period located in the iconic KD tower in Hemel Hempstead, the UK arm of Fingleton White required more space to continue their expansion. As Meridian had supplied and install the current office furniture, we were approached to provide office design and space planning to ensure that any new space met the needs of the expanding business both in terms of staff numbers and facilities.
As the larger office space, also located in KD Tower, was in need of a complete refurbishment, we undertook a detailed survey and feasibility study to ascertain the viability of the area ensuring that elements such as additional meeting rooms, server room, kitchen and break out facilities could be incorporated in a way to provide an aesthetic and practical working environment.
The Solution
Once we had established that the new area was suitable, we undertook a complete refurbishment of the space including new lighting, electrics and data, suspended ceilings and office partitioning, flooring and decoration and alterations to the air conditioning and fresh air systems. We also installed a new kitchen complete with integral dishwasher, fridge, single and filtered water.
One of the main goals was to re-use all of the existing office furniture and provide new to match so waste was kept to a minimum. We increased the seating capacity to 30 plus two individual offices and installed new meeting room tables and booth seating along with a collaboration table and extending the office desks and cable management.
