The Brief
Leading engineering designer and manufacturer of temperature / pressure sensing valves and diesel engine safety products, AMOT approached Meridian to refurbish and install new furniture to the first floor office space at their headquarters in Bury St. Edmunds.
Alongside the main office space, AMOT wanted to upgrade the amenity areas adjacent to improve staff welfare across the site.
The Solution
Working on a Design & Build basis with the end user we removed existing partitions to create an open office space, and proceeded to refurbish the area to bring a modern feel. The Kitchen and toilets we simultaneously enhanced during the 5 week program to minimise disruption to staff.
Into the newly formed area we installed office furniture to best suit the end users working practises with Tower storage to house day-to-day files, and monitor arms to free up desk space for reference materials and other paperwork.
Free-standing acoustic screens were incorporated to help with sound transference across the office, and a slanting detail added to the end screens to bring interest to the finished area.
