The Brief
Office Furniture in Brighton, East Sussex – Technopolis 2019
Having recently expanded in size, Technopolis Group approached Meridian, in collaboration with Georgina Gibson Interior Design, to reconfigure and replace their office furniture in Brighton to allow for more people to work together in the same office.
With the increase of staff meeting spaces had become at a premium for both client facing, and internal meetings – some even spilling out into the kitchen area on occasion.
The Solution
Using a combination of smaller – and more space efficient – rectangular desks, we were able to both increase the amount of staff within the area, while adding a feature in the angled legs afforded by the NOVA A range of desking.
Desk mounted screens, mobile office drawers, and tall cupboard storage completed the workplace solution with an exciting pop of Technopolis’s brand colour to the office.
In each of the office spaces, we incorporated fully enclosed acoustic pods which afforded several places for client facing and internal meetings alike. These pods being fully demountable made them a worthwhile investment over a fixed partition, as they can be moved in the long term, and increase their lifespan.
The project was successfully completed in two phases overcoming many challenges with access to the building. Each phase allow Technopolis to be able to carry on operating their business while their space was being enhanced.
