This was an exciting refurbishment for a client looking to take advantage of the office design experience of our sister company Meridian Interiors, and the office furniture experience of Meridian Office Furniture. Following the 4-week office refurbishment, with its strong interior design focus, our brief was to supply all office furniture, including several bespoke pieces – commissioned specifically for the solicitors’ offices and meeting rooms.
The office redesign centred around a striking black and white theme and the effective use of light – utilising both silicon glazing and LED lighting. On completion of the refurbishment, Meridian Office Furniture then supplied and installed all office furniture. The bespoke commissions, including 2.8m x 0.7m office desks (each supporting two iMacs on a central mount); a cubby hole unit accommodating four lever arch folders in each unit; bespoke meeting room tables and a standing meeting table for document preparation, made this a particularly challenging and exciting project to work on.
