The Planning Stage
Our goal is to always provide an inspiring office interior regardless of budget or specification.
We will meet with you to discuss your needs, staffing levels, IT requirements, future expansion, to name just a few, so we can fully understand your objectives. Once we have your initial thoughts we will survey your space and prepare draft 2D drawings for discussion. Taking on board your comments, and the extent of the works you want to complete, we will amend the draft drawings and put some outline budgets against the revised layout providing advise along the way.
Normally we find a few more tweaks are needed before we get to an agreed final layout and fixed price quotation for the works required. We can also take your design a stage further and provide a full office design service. This sometimes comes with an upfront cost but you will own the designs and we reimburse this cost if you decide to work with us.
The Refurbishment Stage
The most important part of an office refurbishment stage is planning. We project manage the scheme from beginning to end to ensure we keep disruption to a minimum and that your business continuity is maintained. We can’t promise that there will be no disruption, but with our years of experience in delivering projects of this nature, we can mitigate the majority of the potential hurdles at an early stage.
As with all projects there will of course be changes along the way. These could be as simple as a change of wall colour to a major alteration to the scope of works. Having completed many projects over the years we take all this in our stride. We will keep you informed of the implications to the projects of any changes be it budgets, programme, or anything else that may be affected to ensure your objective are maintained.
It is important to us that the finished refurbishment is to the standard expected. To this end we do not finish a project expecting ‘snags’ to be found. Of course there will be a few but our aim is to be defect free and the end of the project.
Health & Safety
Regardless as to the size of the project, health and safety plays an important part to any office fit-out and extends to every stakeholder involved in the scheme. We will manage the entire health & safety process and will work in partnership with you to ensure the safety of both our teams during your office refurbishment.
A short time after completion, we present your Operation & Maintenance file, detailing how everything in your new office works and how it should be maintained.
