The Brief
Office Furniture in Mildenhall – English Architectural Glazing
EAG asked Meridian to complete the long overdue refurbishment of the ground floor offices leading into their factory. EAG use the space as a transition between the factory workers and the office staff, and the brief was to incorporate a canteen and large training room into the design to encourage more interaction between all staff members.
The Solution
Working closely with the various department heads at EAG, we created a space plan providing an open office area, two single occupancy offices, a training room, canteen and meeting room.
The training room was furnished with flip-top tables and arranged in a horseshoe for training and larger meetings. The provision of flip-top tables allows EAG to easily reconfigure the layout to suit alternative functions.
The decoration was kept to EAG corporate office colours giving a fresh bright feel and glass sliding doors were installed to create the meeting rooms, matching previously installed specifications.
